And why not? It is a "out of the park" HOME RUN from every car manufacturing standpoint! If they maintain this already sumptuous body/appearance, improve on it ever so slightly, improve the interior and slap more power under hood...?

Not liking the hood bulge. Seems unnecessary.

Power bump good though.

I think someone dented the hood, or is that a power bulge?

I wonder if it has a larger intake plenum space so in order to fit the engine cover under the hood, comfortably, they needed to modify the hood?

the new hood is likely necessary for the new engine. almost everything in the engine bay got shifted around due to the dual intakes...

Probably has something to do with the new dual throttle bodies and intakes.

Looks like a throwback design as well...

I actually dont mind it. Doesnt seem to take away from the design, though I dont think it helps it either.

Not a bad car IMO, but don't the current 350z come with 300hp? If so only a 8hp jump is that not that good.

Yeah, the current has 300, but Im guessing with the new VQ its the same scenario as the G35 where the newer HP rating will be substantially more than "only" 8HP.

Never a fan of the 350Z's look, & the new hood doesn't help. I like the design of all previous generations Z's better . . .

it went from 293 to 306hp, and nissan is claiming higher gains when the car is at speed. the difference should be very significant...
