Please whatever you do, keep it as stock looking as possible. You have gem it doesn't need garish kits, vents and spoilers. I would try to find a second engine for it and boost and leave the other stock. Because when prices go up in the market for one you can dump in the OE engine and auction it off.

I did a ton of research on the old Z's the other night. Yeah I would've totally loved a 70's model 240 or 260z. But can't look a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, I'm a kid of the 80's so this is grrrreat. I thought my next car would be a 2006+, but going back in time isn't so bad either.

I even have the instruction manual and window sticker. $16,784 out the door in 1982 or about $30K in todays dollars.

I would mod that Z. Stock engines are anemic on that car. My mom had a 1980. Kept it 18 years. No power. Lot's of problems with the fuel injectors. Other than that, was a gem of a car....but no power.
