Default The Next Porsche 911 (998) Sketch ? (Debunked)

This image just floated across our desks and it almost floored me!

One of our readers (xFifty) sent this to us saying this could be the look of the next 911 (998).

Is this car amazing or what?

If they produce something this cool the competition will be running for the hills!!!!

Yeah...sorry but that car is not goin to be in production for a while. I don't even think that the current 911 looks modurn enough for our times, so I don't see them jumping ahead many years in the design process. I highly doubt this will be the next 911.

I'm not feeling it. I know its just a sketch but it kind of reminds me of the Chrysler Crossfire rear end.

No way Porsche would ever make a car with such drastic changes. Looks good though. Maybe Toyota can borrow this design.

Not bad looking. My opinion with Porsche is that I see them maybe making their vehicles slightly wider and keeping roughly the same length. I sometimes try to see evolutions in vehicles in my head and that was what I thought.

Don't like the elongated styling Porshe is getting into. Porshe needs to keep it old school. Bring back the whale tale 911. That defined the 911.
