R&T "comparo": X5 4.8, Trailblazer SS, FX45, Grand Cherokee SRT8, Cayenne, Range Rove
R&T compared 6 SUVs in an review called "Chariots With Fire".
0-60 times
X5 4.8is: 6.1s
Trailblazer SS: 5.8s
FX45: 6.1s
Grand Cherokee SRT8: 4.6s
Cayenne Turbo: 5.3s
Range Rover Supercharged: 6.6s
The vehicles weren't really ranked by number. However, this is what the last paragraph said:
"To SUV or not to SUV gets even more complicated when vehicles like the Jeep, for example, lose utility along the way to achieving better on-road manners. Maybe Infiniti has had it right the whole time. For if we agree that most people never take their SUVs off road, a crossover SUV like the FX45 provides exactly what people are looking for: It looks big and tough like an SUV, but performs as well, or better than, many sport sedans."

Amazing how the Grand Cherokee SRT8 has been clocked faster than any time I've seen with a stock Magnum, Charger or 300c SRT8 models, considering it's an SUV.
It would make one nice sleeper

Not to mention the cherokee looks freakin sweet!
They had 2 on the lot and one being serviced when I was getting my oil change. I was talking to the dude in the waiting area about his truck and he liked my commander so we were bull****ting about Jeeps, then when his car was ready for service he was like "You want to help me cirulate the fresh oil?" and let me take it around the block. I got to hammer it, well more accurately it hammered me. I was in the back of the seat hard. I can get one on the cheap cause of this lease lolity thing and i'm seriously thinking about it. That thing is a beast!!

My bro-in-law is about to get a Jeep SRT8. This truck is sick. Mopar has a Supercharger for it and with exhaust it pushes over 600whp. He said that the total with the jeep will right over $51k. He also told me it will go 0-60 in 3.6, thats right there with a M3!

I fell in love with the Jeep SRT-8 the second i first saw it. I went to the dealer when they first came out, but i didn't even get a chance to sit inside it b/c it was sold as I was walking over to it & the salesmen locked the doors.

SRT-8...I saw one hand a Cayenne Turbo its *** at the drag strip we sometimes run at Hermanos Rodriguez (did not catch the 1/4 mile time since we have no visual clock), but the SRT-8 was a good 3 to 4 lengths ahead (also depends on the launch, and I think the Cayenne had a slightly better start off the light).

A friend of mine owns a CDJ dealership near me and in the past I purchased a 05 Magnum RT from him. I stopped by his dealership a month ago and he had a GC SRT-8 as his demo vehicle. I took it for a 10 mile spin. While it was pretty quick and handled well, I didn't care for the exhaust drone around 50 mph and the interior has way to much cheap looking plastic inside. But for what it is (SUV), it will definitely surprise many vehicles that try and run it.

Must be why Porsche came out with the Cayenne Turbo S. No more ugly Jeep piece of crap (yes, I think you're crazy if you like the looks of the Jeep) beating THAT off the line!

With a 0-60 of 5.1 the only thing the Cayenne Turbo S is going to get off the line is a nice look at those "Ugly" Jeep taillights.
