Default Car stolen, Brooklyn, Cypress Hills area

They just stole my car from my work's parking lot, between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. This is on Jamaica Avenue in Brooklyn, around Cypress Hills Street. Its a dark green LS400, 1994. License plate DLM9866.

Anyone around the area, please look-out for it.

Check with the NYPD and see if it was not towed. Several years ago I thought my car was stolen but it turned out that it was just towed out of a technically illegal space. Fortunately, it was not damaged by the tow. In this area, at least, tow truck operators have to notify the police of any tows they make so there is a formal record of it....I don't see why NYC would be any different.

Yeah I reported to NYPD, it took them an hour and a half to show up. They checked, the car wasn't towed. Plus it was parked on private property -a gated parking lot (gate was open), so a tow truck can't legally enter the property.

If it is a gated parking lot, then shouldn't there be some form of security there? Like a guard waiting to open the gate for employees that work there? If so, maybe there are some parking lot cameras? Ask around or something so you could possibly have the crooks on video and get some info about who they are. Sorry to hear about this .
