Yea I like these commercials too.

My favorite is the Jetta commercial where the passenger is teasing the driver about using the word "like". "...It either happens or it doesnt happen. Stuff doesnt short of like happen..." BANG!!!! lol.

yeah the couple of vw commercials on safety, i really like them. they not only show the safety of the car (true or not), but it's such a good illustration to people how a crash is

I like VWs and own a passat, like it etc..

But I fail to see how this type of ad says it's any better than xyz car that has the same safety features.

I'd like 'real world' data.

Can anyone tell me if a Jetta is safer than a Civic (for example)? These comercials at least show that VW is trying to show how safe their cars are, but do not show if another car would do just as well.

Yeah, it also depends on the speed the guy who hits you is going, the SUV that hit the 2 ladies in the passenger side door looked like he was going like 15 mph.. LOL.
