RIP: Fortune Gfroehrer, founder of Daizen Sport Tuning
Fortune Gfroehrer, 35, founder of Daizen Sport Tuning, was killed in a solo automotive accident on the evening of September 23, 2006, near his hometown of Stuart, FL.
While Fortune was a true automotive enthusiast, his passion for cars was also mirrored by his passion with everything he did in life. A true free spirit, he lived life on his terms, and was a great example for all of us to follow.
He was a very honest, caring, giving individual, and would do anything to help anyone whenever possible. The members here who have had the chance to meet him can certainly vouch for this. A very rare and special person indeed, he will be missed by all.
Funeral services to be held September 28, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pompano Beach, FL.
Donations are being accepted on Fortune's behalf for the St. Jude Chidren's Research Hospital

Not everyone knows about Fortune. I have never met with him before but I have heard plenty about him. He's been very passionate on cars, and that's completely demonstrated by his dedicate work on Daizen products for our Lexus enthusiast community. It's really unfortunate that we lost a great guy in this community.
This thread is dedicated as a memory to his great contribution to the automotive community, especially among a lot of us. Pleaes pay our respect to him, and if possible, donate money to the foundation.

Very sad to hear this, I spoke to Fortune a number of times and he was a great guy. Very dedicated to his craft in the Lexus aftermarket.
My sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

So sad - a loss for the Lexus community and his own community and family.
