Wow.... I remember those. Why did all those imports back then look like insects?

Seeing that Florida State Inspection sticker on that car...wow...we don't even have that program anaymore. I barely remember those old Florida title documents.

It's so cool this 1976 has only 668 miles.

Too bad it's a Corolla.

That's a nice little car. Complete sleeper...

Stuff this forced fed 2T-GEU into that:
(looks like they can zap the image when linked....oh well...)

Or you can stuff a 4AGE or a 4AGZE or 13b and really make it scream.

It's probably worth more than the $10K it sold for on eBay.

It will only increase in value if future owners keep it as it is and don't drive it for the most part. It may be the ONLY one of its kind.

What if something breaks? Can't go to dealer and grab a new suspension part.

I dont even know if Toyota remembers this car.

Here's a bigger issue methinks, what if it runs on REGULAR gas.

My grandpappy used to sit me on his knee on the davenport and spin yarns about this 'regular gasoline'

Somewhere I remember reading or hearing that Toyota will either continue to stock and/or make parts for their vehicles up to 30 years old.

I think I heard this from someone at the Lexus dealer up in San Antonio as I remarked (when talking about a 1978 Landcruiser that has always been parked out in front there) what to do about parts and I think that was where I heard this.

We still have a lot of those in my contry. Probably not 700 miles but more like 7,000,000 miles on them.

What makes this thing special and unusually rare is that it is just a "regular" car that has been stored away from the time it was new.

Most examples of old cars that are still basically new are exotics or other type of specialty car that was immediately put away as part of a collection.

Also, it has a special value because it carries the best selling and most popular nameplate in history - "Corolla".
