What to do!?
Ok I just can not decide...Im looking at cars for around $7000 max. I need a reliable car, thats not extremely harsh on gas, but has good power, and nimble handling, along with a comfortable interior, and it cant be a little riceboy car. So I was looking at the bmw 540 until I read about the whole nikasil issue, and decided I didnt want a blown engine. So its down to
Bmw 325i
Bmw 540i
and of course
Lexus sc300/400
Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hm..well Im sure the lexus is more reliable than the bimmers...How about handling and power? I dont know what to go for. I know gas mileage is similar between all these cars so just forget that part.

Yeah the lexus reliability factor really plays in against bmw...How much does the manual make a difference in the sc cars? Whats the interior space like in the sc (front seats) Is it comfy?

Does the car have to be 1 of the 3 choices you 1st mentioned? Have you considered a 2000 Toyota Solara? Get the 4 cyl. as the 6cyl. of that gen had sludge buildup problems. You will be able to get a newer car w/ less mileage & better fuel eeconomy than the SC300/ 400 for the same $$$.
