Default Who says mods are just for cars??? LOL!!!

Just thought I would share a pic of one of the big trucks all modded out. Forgive the quality, as this pic was taken at 75 mph and with one hand, gotta keep my truck under control. This is primarily a rolling advertisement for a truckers chrome shop located on I-81 South in Wytheville, Virginia. The frame of this truck has been hyper-stretched and extended, chasis has been lowered, custom paint job, LOTS of chrome (it does belong to a chrome shop), sports 2 150 gallon fuel tanks on the driver side, locomotive air horns, annnndddd it is completely, 100% street legal. There is a corresponding trailer (all chromed out) which this truck pulls to different trucking events. I really cant comment on trailer size, not exact specs of this truck, since i havenot stopped to ask. Just thought I would share an interesting sight.

Sweet they dropped it I wonder if they do any engine mods to these trucks since they have monster sized turbos.

From what i understand of this truck, it once housed what is called a studio sleeper. A sleeper section is the area behind the drivers seat where the drivers bunk, tv, etc. is located. With a studio sleeper, not only is there a bunk, but there may also be a small dining area, shower, toilet, laundry facility. Just think of it as a miniture RV. In order to house this type of sleeper section, the frame must be hyper extended and strengthened. This particular truck, since it would not see much over the road time, had its' sleeper section removed so that it just houses the front seats. Rest of the truck has been chromed out and forces a "wow" appeal. Most of you have probably passed these trucks with the sleeper sections I am referring to without knowing it. They are really common in the big moving van companies such as United Van Lines, Atlas, and some of the high end vehicle transporter companies. Just surprised that they didn't install spinner rims on the truck. LOL!!!! Yes, even trucks can sport spinners. (www.relativetomotion.com)

delivery trucks, I could see,, especially in HK. Not a common everyday thing here to see Tractor Trailer modded out. This truck also has a 48' trailer, all chromed out as well. Looks really nice when both parts are together. This truck is primarily used to promote their chrome shop business for large trucks.
