On a serious note regarding sitting tooo close to the steering wheel. I believe you need at least to be 12" away for the airbag clearance........that way it doesn't blow your chest out?
Anyone know the minimum clearance?

Cute car. My neighbors kid got one (Civic Si) recently and I took it for a spin. I could never get comfortable in that car. Why did Honda put the parking brake handle in such an odd location? Really digs into my leg, even when its lowered. I also don't like the crab claw type windshield wipers they put on the car.

Congragulations. Ordinarily with a new car it is a good idea to change the oil and filter at 1000 miles or so as the engine breaks in.......not with a Honda / Acura product. They use a special factory break-in oil they want left in for the first 3000 miles.
If you need the other standard break-in rules PM me and I'll give them to you.

I love the styling of the new Civic. Proportions are perfect.
My SC is the first car I've ever owned with A/C too and that is after 13 years of driving. You really
don't know what you're missing until you actually have it.
Considering how hot the weather has been across the country, I don't know how anyone
without AC could driving without getting heat exhaustion.

Its called 'not being a *****' I'm also used to the hot weather too. Having no A/C for 2.5 weeks last year after Katrina definitely makes you not worry about it so much.
Nice car btw, I like the new Civic; especially the coupes, no matter what others say

Love the new Civic Si! Black looks GREAT. Congrats! I'd have gotten the terrific nav option though.
