Sorry but that PS is absolutely horrible. The headlights are short and awkwardly shaped, the grille looks retarded, the side is just a copy & paste from a short-wheelbase LS, and the 2-tone is a blatant copy of the Maybach. I seriously hope the real thing (if there ever will be one) looks nothing like that.

I do agree if Lexus build this car, I hope it will look different from this.

I am curious what Lexus' interpretation of a super-luxury, limousine-class vehicle would be like. I imagine more modern, and more technology yet still classy and stylish, with lots of wood accents done tastefully.
And who knows--maybe some concept elements that have been dreamed of for production vehicles, but until now not achieved. Items such as holographic displays and lighted wall panels...or electrochromatic roofs, mood lighting...you name it!

I think Lexus CAN compete with Maybach, Bentley, Rolls Royce, if it wants to.
Even those 3 brands are quite segmented though... Maybach and Rolls - owner has a chauffeur, where Bentley owner drives themselves.
But if you think Lexus models are close to those brands today - think again.

I like that Lexus is really pushing the envelope hard now and trying to compete with bigger names. It's about time a Japanese company did that. I really hope something like this comes to fruition and does well.

I don't think any of the Lexus models, with the exception of the LS 460 L with rear seat package, or the LS 600h L, even approaches that status. But they shouldn't be trying to be luxo-barges, except for the LS (in part).
However, I think Lexus has the opportunity to go up--way up. The Lexus brand image is amorphous enough, that magazines have talked about Lexus-Ferrari beaters, etc. Lexus has outdone BMW and Mercedes on luxury, why not gun for the top? I have sat inside a Bentley and IMO, aside from space and a more traditional flair, it doesn't have anything on an LS 600h L.
