Default Hyundai Accent SR concept

All I can say is wow!!! This looks sooooooo good!!

Hyundai Accent SR
In the spirit of all "hot hatches" dominating the European charts, Hyundai shows this stylish barnburner. Technically a concept, it's in production ramp-up already. When we think of where Hyundai stood five years ago, it's remarkable to see such good-looking designs happening. The SR goes on sale in Europe by mid-2006 with 18-inch wheels and gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine good for at least 200 hp.

It is a concept interior but it's not very far from possible production. Some of the interior components: gauge cluster, blue LED lighting, shifter, will probably be changed for actual production but the general shape and design of the interior is very simple and will hopefully stay the same.

Either way, Hyundai seems to be doing something right. I can't really say they copied much for any other automaker with this design. I can seem a little Civic Si in the front and as already stated, mini RX in the rear but otherwise, it seems to be a relatively original blueprint.

If this car makes production, it'll be a hit everywhere. Hopefully, it'll hit US markets. The Tuscani (Tiburon) design for 2007 was a little disappointing but this Accent SR concept brings my faith back into Hyundai.

I think it looks better than a Honda Civiv hatchback. Good job Hyundai...
