Default Facelifted Solara

What are your thoughts on it? I personally think it looks MUCH MUCH better. The refreshed headlights, front fascia, rear bumper and rear tails make it much more classy and slightly more aggressive.

Love the interior. Seems to belong in a much more expensive model. However, I do not like the exterior. They could have done a much better job IMO. Still an all around great car, and Im sure you can get a great deal on one.

A member here just purchased one a few weeks ago. Search "Toyota Solara".

I like the new look. It takes a lot more cues from the SC as the new gen Solara has always looked like a bloated baby SC.

The new rear bumper is better, as one of the biggest faults of the Solara design is its huge butt of a bumper. The lighting on the bumper also adds a nice touch. The spoiler is also an improvement; making a bigger and lower spoiler further makes the butt of the Solara less prominent. It's a bit better balanced overall...

BTW LED tails...
It definetly looks more Camry derived this time around, as it should because it's the Camry 2dr replacement.

I like the new rear bumper more, but don't care for the front bumper . . .

Agreed the front bump looks quite civic-esque. But the rear is better than ever.

I am NOT AT ALL a fan of the lower sides, it looks to me like something unfortunate hit the car and left a big dent

Saw a white 07 Solara SLE V6 convertible in the showroom today. It looks pretty nice. The woodtrim is slightly different from the 04-06 version (seems slightly lighter but not the light maple wood that's showing up on the Camry/Avalon). It also seems to have a grainer look to it.

Canadian SE V6 models get HIDs for the first time.

I would never buy one - but it does look pretty cool for the right person.

Camry Solara. Toyota's 'sportiest' car. I don't know whether to blame Toyota or the American buying public.

I assume the tC doesn't count?

The public. There really is no point if nobody's going to buy them. I mean, the RSX is gone so is the S2000 (or so it has been rumoured). What about:

Supra, RX-7, 300ZX, MX-6, MX-7, Paseo, Prelude, ITR
