1st Place: Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG - The power of the new V8 leaves you breathless. The E63 AMG doesn't lack dynamic handling. Impressive, the comfort. The E63 is an allround talent.


2nd Place: BMW M5 - The M5's V10 lacks the punch of the E63 AMG in midrange acceleration, but the V10 impresses as the purist sportscar engine. In handling, the M5 is sportier. The transmission is something one has to get used to, and in comfort, the M5 lags behind

By the way I like the E63 more too. Based on looks, features, etc, that would be the car I would pick(though I obviously never driven them).

M5 was faster through out entire speed range?

It was a full 2 second faster than E63.

E63 won because it is an all around cruiser.

M5 is still more fun to drive. Nothing has changed.

E63 to my suprise is actually not much faster than E55.

I think you mean the other way around ?

But overall, I agree with their choice, I'd still pick the E63 AMG, but for my money, I would rather have the CLS63 AMG
