Default The new GS, RX and Special Edition SC unveiled.

Got this information from Lexus today cant wait to see the vehicle reviews in magazines and I really wanna see the Pebble Beach SC430 especially since the red interior is back. And yes i know the RX is old news but thought id add that as well.

2007 GS: Horsepower:303 excuses:0

Introducing the new, incredibly powerful Lexus GS 350. The numbers speak volumes: 3.5-liter V6, 303 horsepower [1], 274 lb-ft of torque [1]. Numbers that translate into a potent experience at every green light, entrance ramp and passing lane.

Complementing the faster-than-fast new GS 350 is an inspired available Lexus voice-activated DVD Navigation System [3] with Generation 5 software capable of not just recognizing more than 100 voice commands, but realizing the need to offer directions as quickly as the GS is fast.

2007 RX: The RX350 offers more power inside and out.

"Are we there yet?" In the new 2007 Lexus RX 350, the "yes" might come a bit too soon for backseat passengers. Raising an already formidable horsepower output to 270 hp [1], the new 3.5-liter V6 offers the RX driver "we're already there!" arrival times.

Coupled with the new engine is a boost in the RX 350's premier in-vehicle entertainment experience. Now standard in every RX is an in-dash, six-disc CD auto-changer, with the option of upgrading to the available world-renowned Mark Levinson® Premium Audio System [4], as well as adding the endless entertainment stream of available XM® Satellite Radio [5].

In the back seats, the available DVD Rear-Seat Entertainment System (RSES) with wireless headphones [6] now comes with a nine-inch screen and remote control, offering passengers their own sense of unlimited power and control.

2007SC: Next stop Pebble Beach.

The ultimate getaway destination deserves the ultimate escape vehicle. The 2007 Lexus SC Pebble Beach® Edition. Offered in a unique color combination with exclusive badging, this SC special edition is available in a head-turning Starfire Pearl exterior and a unique Pimento Red leather interior. Finishing the limited edition package are two sets of black Lexus floor mats branded with a distinctive red Pebble Beach logo.

Hm... negligible in the real world, but wonder why the GS350 was detuned by 3 hp and 3 torque, compared to the IS350?

Also, no word on a GS460?

GS460 should arrive in spring. Not sure why horsepower is down compared to the IS350. Also it seems as the new PBE SC430 will be silver with red interior. And i think tigereye mica will be added for 2007 but not combined with the camel interior or the bronze wheels of the 2006 PBE.

exhaust length and design is different than the IS350, you can easily have small power losses from that

GS460 has already been confirmed for spring 07, they want the 460 engine to be exclusive to the LS until spring. GS350 is going to sell like hotcakes anyways, just as much power as the previous V8 but less torque

Not surprising at all that the GS350 will be slightly less powerful - if you had been to lexus.jp, the GS350 has always been listed at slightly less hp & torque than the IS350 since their launch there last year.

I'm dying to know the 0-60 spec for the GS460.

If the GS350 can go 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds, which is faster than the current GS430, I wonder what the GS460 can do.....

Sounds great.

So it looks like the Starfire Pearl color will be a special edition color for the SC, but as far as we know it's a new color option on the IS and GS-series??

Notice the lack of mention of the engine size of the SC. Any chance they can stuff in the new 4.6L?
