Help!!!
I want an NSX.........whats the best year....color.....features.....major problems......etc. etc.
I ask for some personal experiences, tastes, anything bad/good about it, problems, etc.
No clue, but I would like to spend 35-40K.
Thanks.

talk to chris (CK6speed?), he's very good and can tell you everything. if i remember right try to get 96 or 97+, those are lighter and better. you can also go to nsxprime, they have faq and there are TONS of info there. i read there a lot back then but forgot most info already

Nizhu,
Please try www.nsxprime.com and start with their excellent FAQ including buyers' guide. While there are a few of us on CL that have or have had NSXs, you'd be much better served going to a forum that focuses on them.

Definately go to NSX Prime adn read as much as you can and posts questions there. Basically though any NSX is good. The newer ones are faster, but mid 13s for the early model is still pretty darn good IMHO. There are only a few basic categories to consider. 1) Do you want a Coupe or Removable Targa top. 2) Do you have to have the 3.2L and 6-Speed. And 3) do you want the updagted 02 look with fixed headlights or do you want the flip up headlights. Once you determine what you want, you can look at specific years. 91-94 for Coupes, 95-01 for targe, 97+ fopr 3.2 6-Speed, 02+ for updated fixed headlights. Coupes were on special order from 97-01, so they do exisit but they are so rare you'd be lucky to find one.
Things to note. You can swap the 6-Speed into the 91-96 if you wanted to. You can buy the 02+ parts and update the look of your car if you wanted to. 91-94 is OBD1, so if you go forced induction that may play a role for some.
Also don't settle for an NSX just because it is of a cheaper price. There are many really crappy NSX's out there that don't do the NSX justice. Before you judge the NSX, try driving an unmolested stock one first. That would give you an idea of how an NSX supposed to drive and feel.
