Default Thanks for all the help, and pics of my new ride (NOT A GS)

Hi all... thanks for all the help over the last year or so. I came VERY VERY close to pulling the trigger on the GS.

Reasons for the change:

GS felt a bit underpowered.

GS room was tighter in the front seats then the Solara

Old nav system, NO Aux input, and relatively poor stock stereo system.

Price... just could not justify the price difference for near Lexus quality in the Solara.

I will tell you what though... the people on this board have been absolutely wonderful, really a great bunch of guys and gals. The GS is a beautiful car, and who knows, I may pick up a 350 in a couple years.

Again, thanks for everything, and here are the pics... although it isnt a GS, I am still very happy.

Gotta love the interior of the Solaras. Definitely doesnt look like a 20-30K interior. Mad props for that. The Nav screen graphics look kinda similar to the Lex Gen 5 systems IMO. Now only if the exterior looked as good. Not a fan of it.

Congrats man. ENJOY!!

Indeed. I remember sitting in it for the first time at NOPI last year and I was shocked at how luxurious it was. Shames some luxury car companies

interior looks good, but wonder why they used different colored backlights for the nav and ac buttons?

Sweet interior.

Nice vehicle overall - they've really 'evolved' the Solara nicely.

What GS did you drive? I'm guessing it wasn't a 430.

Nice Solara though! That interior is gorgeous!
