Top Gear Convertible Comparo-1. XK8, 2.650, 3. SL 350 (yes a V-6)
They liked the Jag handling and interior inside and out. They also like how it looks. They felt is was the complete car, a true GT, luxury and the sportiest of the bunch. they like the paddle shifters. They felt some plastics were crappy.
The BMW, no crap, they said it needed a soul! They said it was well built and good in all aspects, its the quickest of the bunch but "its not the car you'd take the long way home with". They hated the I-Drive for the test. They liked the heads up display.
The Benz, they thought the interior was amazing given its an older car. They felt it was way overpriced and only a V-6! THey loved the looks and hardtop. Its heavy and the steering is vauge and the gearbox is not great.

to Jag. I just love love love that car. Such a sweet looking ride. I've seen a few of them on the road already, and it sure was snapping necks. Some other mag recently said it was the best Jaguar to date(forgot which one).
Hopefully they can get the new S-type right next year as well.

I highly doubt they will bring the 350 here. We havent seen a V6 SL in the states in a LONG time. Besides we already have the CLK500, CLK350, CLK63, SLK350, and SLK55 which are all cheaper than the SL550.
