Question about selling a salvaged car.
Ok here's the deal. About a year ago I got into an accident and the car was totaled. Now that about a year has elapsed I owe two years worth of registration and need a SMOG check. The car is not worth repairing IMO as it had been repaired previously from being rear ended. Now, the question is do I need to SMOG and register the car non-op in order to be able to sell it? The car runs fine, as the damage is mostly cosmetic, but I just want to get rid of it. Id really prefer not to spend ~$500 for registration and SMOG a car that I will just be selling to someone more or less for parts. Any input on this? Thanks.

why even bother to smog it, if you're not even gonna drive it, lol, sell it as is,unless you got some stupid laws in cali ,that you cant sell a car in any condition unless it's passed smog test, lol,do they make you smog test a transmission or a door? if it's the only usable part on car?
