In Japan, Trying To Get Tahara Tour
I just arrived in Japan, near Nagoya, and am trying to arrange a tour of the Tahara plant. The plant is about 15 minutes away from where I am, in Aichi Perfecture.
I called the number on this site 81 5312 3 5111. I received no answer, so I am wondering if that is the right number. Can anyone find this information?
In Japan, it seems as though Lexus is not big yet, I have seen a few Altezzas, IS250s, and many Celsiors and Harriers. I would greatly appreciate this information.

Oooh I don't think Toyota Japan offers in house tours to the public like they do here at the North American plants. But I don't see why not though.
Hey Mike, how about we take a few weeks off and meet up in Japan for TAS 2007?

I though you said TAS 2007 is because there's no Tokyo Auto Show in 2006 . . .
Either way, Tahara tour sounds good to me. I haven't even had a chance to visit the Canadian RX plant yet lol . . .

But we have to make sure the plant is available for public tour though. The Canadian plant is, since 2Savvy & at least another CL member have already visited by invitation by Lexus Canada. Anyone can find out how to arrange one in Japan, the Tahara plant in particular, from here ?
