Just out of curiosity, how many Club Lexus meets have you ever been to since you first joined Club Lexus? Where and what was your first CL Meet experience? And how far have you travelled to go to a CL Meet?

And if you have never been to one, what is stopping you from coming?

I've been a member of CL just over 5 years now and have been involved with most all of the major Club Lexus events all over California (SoCal & NorCal). I have lost count of all these meets after all these years. My first Club Lexus Meet encounter was during the 1st Carson Toyota Meet ever. It was a joint CL & IS300.net which was a first for SoCal. To date, I cannot count how many meets I have been to and the thousands of miles i've logged on my car traveling up and down CA for them.

Club Lexus History & Fun Facts:

1) March 2001, The first CL/IS300.net meet was a few months prior to the 1st Carson Toyota meet. It was in the Bay Area and someone from Lexus corporate brought out the prototype and first ever L-Tuned Packaged IS300.

2) May 2001, The first ever Carson Toyota Mega Meet and the 1st SoCal CL/IS300.net Meet.

3) March 2002, The first ever Club Lexus event that was hosted by Lexus Corporate & Team Lexus. It was held during the the first ever IRL race (The Yamaha Indy 400) at the California Speedway in Fontana, CA.

Holy cow we all know how much you like to drive for meets Ryan.

My first ever meet was in SoCal last year I believe so I guess that the farthest I've ever travelled for a CL meet would be 500 miles? Lol I think I've been to between 6-8 meets.

Hmm, I don't think I've been to too many meets. I believe my first one was last year. The Tapioca Express/Joe's Sushi Meet in Riverside. Other than that, I went to TOL this past year with the CL guys at El Toro, and then I showed with CL at TORC last week. I'm lazy though, I haven't driven out to any meets. However, I'm usually working the weekends meets are.

3 I think, first one at Pathfinder Park where I met Papa Smurf and the rest of the guys. Next one was at my house, then had went to one at Jay's new house. All were BBQ's.

I wanted to get up to one recently in San Antonio, but was still awating my work permit renewal and couldn't leave.

I would love to hold one here in Mexico City except that I think I am the only CL member in Mexico to my knowledge and we don't officially have Lexus here yet.

i have been to alot but i lost count on the actual number .......I only missed a couple due to work i have traveled as much as 4 to 5 hours to go to a meet

I think around 5 or 6. A few here in SoCal and a few in NorCal. Good times for sure.

I'm thinking of setting a CL world record for furthest distance by going to LexFest later this year. Depends on when it is though and if I can coerce someone to drive with me.

I thought that was just an SC3 meet lol...actually, I do remember this one- There was an open house at TRD in Tustin that same Saturday, and then the big meet at Carson with the blue Turbo IS300. I remember being in awe seeing some guy with the SC430 back then putting the electric top down. good memories
