Congragulations. I have long recommended the Miata for those who want a fun, affordable, reliable, responsive sports car, can fit in it ( which excludes me ) and who don't need to drive on slippery roads ( where they are practically worthless ). They are durable as an iron anvil if you take care of them.

A word of caution: I noticed you mentioned how hard the turbo kicks in. If this is a brand-new car, don't accelerate flat-out or go over 4000 RPM for the first 1000 miles or so, or use the brakes full-force except in an emergency. After 1000 miles, you can then drive a little harder.

Wow. I think this is the first photoshoot I've ever seen with rolls of carpet!

Congrats on the wicked Miata. I was thinking of getting one of the Mazdaspeeds myself,
but I have to drive more than 1 passenger on many occasions (me + wife + son).

Its got 23927 miles on the Odometer as I type this. Its a remarkable little car the gas mileage is great im averaging about 25 to 26 right now. I have to get those stripes off the sun just came out I might do it in a couple of hours if the sun stays up like this. This is one of the biggest underdogs I think in the performance world. Im just blown away by the power to weight ratio this thing has. It totally reminds me off one of my friends 93 FD RX-7. Nimble and fast.
