Total buzz killer..
Over a year ago I purchased a nissan 1990 240sx shell to replace one that was involved in a .. misshap.
It did not have a running motor a trashed interior and a .. automatic transmission.
Lack of time and funds prevented me to swap a good motor and manual transmission into the good shell and discard the old shell. Long story short the above was finally done. I know have a running manual 240sx thats only waiting for minor finishing touches before it can be registered and fully legal. Until recently I simply had the shell in storage.
I look at the interior there were LARGE dark brown stains on the passenger seat, the seat was destroyed on the cushion area coughed in one end, a small round hole in the middle. area behind this more large brown stains. I just took the seat out dismissed the stains... as some sort of vehicle fluid possibly someone spilled automatic tranny fluid? Who knows.
As I do more of the interior stuff and replace the cracked dash with the one from my original S13 i notice an iron metallic smell. Coming from the car area of the stain. I look at the windshield I notice a tiny drop that looks like dried blood. I look at the stain... curiosity sinks in.. I look at the seat. itself and its soaked, in what I now think its dried blood. I can see the dark blown give hints in into turning to dark red in the foam.. In some of the area theres some sort of tiny clumps.. the metallic or iron like smell is rather noticeable...
Now Im not sure what to do. The owner before me bought the shell as well and never got it running either he had it for at least a year and a half before he just gave up on his project. This is based on the title he signed off to me. Then I had the car for another year and some months and until very recently I drove it briefly. So for at least almost 3 years the car has not driven although I suspect its been sitting for much longer then that. Normally Id consider a new shell and getting rid of it.. But..
I already put the good motor and tranny in. I spent a bit of time and money upgrading everything up to par, new brakes, new hoses, auto to manual conversion done, etc. So I wanna keep it. But the thought of... someone getting injured or worse, and by apparently violent means is somewhat disturbing. Also what if authorities search the car, thad be an awkward thing to explain. Im thinking of mixing 1/10 bleach, with 9/10 water, and putting it over the stained area and replace the seat and just forget about it.. Or is this bad idea? I rather see a white stain on a dark carpet then see dried blood. And although slim.. we don't know if the person injuried had any bloodbourne illnesses although most blood bourne illnesses die shortly after being exposed to the elements I rather not take a chance... I wonder if car fax would reveal more?
Suggestions?

And don't talk about it again (not in a mean way. I mean, just forget about it).

Maybe they shot a Quentin Terrentino movie in it.
I'd dump the whole thing... too creepy.
