Here's some pics of speed shops in Japan. I lived there for many years, so I go back quite often. Aftermarket for new and especially used car parts is unbelievable. Used car parts are ridiculous cheap and come with a 100% guarantee.

Would be so nice to browse parts and bring them home the same day.

evotolexus,

Where are those shops in Japan? Tokyo? Do you have the name of the area or street names? Every time I go to Tokyo, I only go to Autobacs near Odaiba but it is not very convenient.

Thanks

All I can say is Dayum!!!!

It would be nice to be able to go somewhere and pick it up right away. Heck, it'd be nice to be able to call a dealer who has what you need in stock, although I understand why they can't/don't.

Some pictures were from UP Garage in Nagoya. Nagoya is about 1 1/2 hours away on the shinkansen from Tokyo. However UP Garage is one of the largest speed shops in Japan and can be found everywhere. Use this link to find the closest UP Garage whenever you go UP Garage Just click on the interactive map for your location and it'll list the shops with phone number in your area.

The other pictures were from Super Autobacs in Tokyo; more specifically in the Hachioji or Fussa area. About 45 minutes away on the regular trains from Tokyo. As you know, Autobacs is all over as well.

What part of Japan do you normally go to? What's the closest train station? Speed shops are generally word of mouth, but can be found everywhere. So you really shouldn't have to travel far to find a good speed shop.

Looks just like Super Autobacs. Which is actually in Stanton, not Garden Grove.
