Lexus magazine arrived...
Just to mention, I finally got my copy of Lexus magazine for Q2 2006 today...you guys should be getting them soon if not already!

The contents are there, LS 460 is the highlight...
Strange, I didn't receive Q1 2006, the one with the ES teaser pic supposedly in there...I've received everything else...

Did you get Q1? It seems a number of us didn't get it...strange.
I'm wondering if the whole 'ES revealed prematurely due to mag scan' scandal resulted in Lexus delaying the magazine distribution for Q1, and then cancelling it entirely. Instead, Q1 may have been available at dealerships only.
If you notice, the coordination is pretty amazing. The LS 460 article in this issue talks about the 'V8 hybrid with 5.0 L engine,' a specific that was revealed just last Wednesday at NYIAS. So it seems that the magazine mailing was timed to fit right after NYIAS, to avoid scooping the press event with official Lexus literature.
And the New ES article placed in the magazine this Q2 talks about it having been already revealed. So no teaser pic like we all saw (exposed prematurely) in the Q1 edition which we did not receive (according to this theory...).
Although I don't see why Lexus PR couldn't have allowed the Q1 mag to ship out...maybe some people received it? Were they that big on the ES 350 'cover being blown 1 week ahead' that they didn't release it? Strange.

but then again, yeah, someone screwed over big time by obtaining the q1 mag and post up confidential pics... caused big time trouble

I received every issue since I bought my Lexus 3 1/2 years ago, but we usually get them a little later up here, so I haven't received the newest one yet. Too many stuff non-lexus & non-car related, I don't think I ever read even half of it . . .

I registered my car at the owners site and suscribed a year and a half ago an still havent gotten a magazine i sent the editor of the magazine my address and vin# so i guess i maybe will get this issue of lexus magazine.
