Despite me being such a car guy, I have never seen a pic of a Toyota 2000GT before. I cannot believe how much it resembles a Ferrari 250GTO...

Developed jointly by Yamaha and Toyota, the 2000GT made its debut at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show. However it took another 2 years before it went on sale. It is suggested that the origin of the car was a design carried out by freelance US/German designer Albrecht Goertz, who had designed the BMW 507 and later had a hand in the Datsun 240Z. Although built by Yamaha, Goertz had originally penned the car for Nissan, but they turned it down – probably because its sophistication and cost were too high for the production and marketing plans they were making. Yamaha then turned to Toyota, who decided to put the car into production.

The father of the Supra.
And no I don't see the Altezza resemblance.
I'm surpised so many Toyota enthusiasts on here don't know about it. It's a really sexy car.

I saw one a few years ago at the Carlsbad Toyota Dealer in So Cal. It might still be there in the lobby if you want to get an up close look.

Fun Fact...a 2000GT was used in a James Bond film.

2 perfect condition 2000GT's are sitting in the Toyota USA Museum here in Torrance.

The 2000GT was one hell of a car. Never seen one in person, but I certainly would like to.

To answer the question, I dont think so, but there is always a slight possiblity.
