Exclamation Feb Popular Mechanics tests Civic Hybrid/Highlander Hybrid and compares to gas models

They recommened the Highlander saying you get more performance and fuel economy, even for $4800 more.
They do NOT recommend the Civic Hybrid, saying the fuel economy is slighly improved and performance is worse, for $1800 more.

I like hybrids, no matter what and kudos to Honda and Toyota being leaders here

Doesn't the Highlander have more standard equipment as well?

I like certain hybrids, it just depends on the overall package

The only hybrids I'm currently interested in is the high power ones, GS450h & LS600h
