Exclamation Toyota's styling inspires M-B?(from Edmunds)

In profile, some said, the GL looks like an 11/10ths Toyota Highlander.

What's scary is I actually have pics of that exact GL450 when I was in the Bay Area about 2 weeks ago. A video magazine crew from Germany was filming the car on the spot right there at the Marin Headlands facing the Golden Gate Bridge. I talked to one of the guys that was with the film crew, and that exact car is the same press car that was first in Detroit, and was sent out to CA for a press review. The guy was accompanying the German press team around the Bay Area. The press crew had their huge HD cameras filming the interior and exterior. What a small world. The color of that GL450 almost looks like Thundercloud in person. I'll have to post those pics up.

it is Toyota, stealing super duper MB plans about GL from 7 years ago.

I will bet anything that when new Highlander comes out, and if it looks similar to current Highlander, Autobild will publish how Japanese have, once again, copied European design... lol. It happens all the time.

LOL is it just me, or can we make these cross-car-make design similarity comparisons ALL day long?

When I saw it in Car & Diver (I think it was) I said the same thing. MB to Lexus.......Lexus to MB talk about design influence. Hey we al win in the end.
