Intellichoice's Best New Car Deals for 2006

Interesting that the RX400h FWD, Prius, Civic Hybrid and Insight are considered the best deals in their respective classes, knowing that it's quite hard to justify a hybrid financially, be it the initial cost or the total cost of ownership. Did they publish an explanation to this ranking somewhere?

Actually, Consumer Reports said they made a math error and the Prius will save you $400 and the Honda will save you $300 over 5 years. Check post #19 here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...3&page=2&pp=15
