Default Opinions? Any 06 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro owners?

Does anyone here own one (or know of someone that owns one) ?

I went to check one out today (spur of the moment) and loved it. Granted the interior isn't as great as a Lexus, but it definitely has its own style (which I actually liked a lot). I test drove a Quattro 3.2 w/ only the premium package, and a few individual add-ons (navi/a few others I didn't note). Before driving, I told him I was looking for options at the moment, ready to buy in a month or so. Of course, the brute force tactic came into play x_x

The salesman was totally cool until he stopped listening when he found out that I was really interested. x_x It became a game of head-nodding and (seems?) falsified personal stories to establish a connection so I'd get it today. Names will be omited because it wouldn't be fair toward that dealer/salesguy.

Fortunately, I did get a great deal on a loaded one (sunroof pkg, premium pkg, technology pkg, s-line pkg, cold pkg).

Lease $3k down, $705/month (includes all fees, flat 705/month payments) for 36 months, 12k/year mileage (horrible residual of 52%...)

So there's the story behind the question, so the true nature of this thread:

Thoughts/opinions regarding this car ? Known problems? Recommendations for/against this?

The GFM IS350 w/ my option set is still MIA in my area (or we can't just get the car in for some reason lol) and we need another car in the family.
I'd hate myself if I were to pick up a GS300 when we know a 350 is coming soon...
I'm tired of waiting for this IS that supposedly doesn't exist in my area...
I'm looking at other options (non-lexus/toyota models).

Thanks in advance

I'll let you in on a secret...a family member of mine is a master audi tech...and he's telling me that they're having some head gasket issues right now w/ the 3.2l FSI motors. there was another issue as well i just dont recall at the moment.

just something to think about. But it's all under warranty anyway
