Jeremy Clarkson, goes offf on Top Gear, in Top Gear!
No scans, maybe we can find online.
Basically, he is PISSED they will shoot basically one episode of Top Gear this year. He cannot understand it b/c they have a 19,000 person waiting list to get on the show to spectate.
They can only hold 500 people a show.
So that is a 17 year waiting list.
He went off, saying they do all this work (or not really them) and the powers that be decided people rather watch "snookers" (I think this is tennis or maybe billard) and other stuff.
It was hilarious b/c he's going off on the same people who own the magazine.

well, either way, it would be the same, because they have the same people on it. So it will affect both. Plus, Top Gear US hasn't aired in a while...

this is classic clarkson exaggeration taken to the max. it's not like this is their first time the BBC has covered the World Cup and the Snooker stuff--Top Gear always worked around the sporting event schedule.
