You got that right buddy. My RX is faster than yours. ANd quite frankly, with us being in different states, you cannot DISPROVE my claim.
And if you look at Motor Trend, the acceleration times say my car is faster.
Ignore the ones in Automobile, where mine is slower.
On a windy day, if I drive in the direction the wind is pushing, I can gain 1/2 a second in the 1/4.

What is this thread? lol. Well I know my car is faster than some other GS's I tested the new GS430 and my car feels quicker off the line than it.

I am on tons of forums, and starting last year, serverly started limiting my time on many, as the combined I.Q of all their members was in the area of 12.
In the 5 years I've been on CL, its almost out of control, the fighting on the interent about acceleration and sport. Its ridiculous.
I guess what pushed me to this thread, the thread in our own IS forum, with people arguing the IS 350 vs the 335, which doesn't even damn exist yet.
There are so many variables that come into play, its hard to predict a winner, when cars are evenly matched.
Its also hilarious, that people brag about a car being faster or sportier, when the times seperating the 2 cars are maybe .2 seconds or 1mph in the slalom.
Ridiculous.
CL, lets try our best, not to get caught up in this REDAMNDICULOUS trend plaguing the internet.
Just post your links, timesips from those members that have done so, and leave it alone.
Its fun from time to time, yes, but not ALL the time.

BTW, on another note, NOT EVERY #($()() CAR HAS TO HANDLE LIKE A LOTUS ELISE!!!!
There are GT cars, luxury cars that are fine.There are family cars, vans, SUVs.

good point 1SICK i like the arguments sometimes but it does get redundant from both lexus lovers and the ppl defendingother cars. any car can be beat on a given day if both are equally matched.
personally my car is faster than all the cars being argued and i dont have ANY proof but just b/c i say so.

nice post up there mike. i am pretty tired of people arguing over the internet on what car is faster and what not too.... man, so many variables, and then in the end we are arguing 5.2 and 5.3, followed by 60mph or 60.5mph.... man, just get along @_@ that's why i try to pull myself away from all these discussions as much as possible, i don't really see the point anymore....
oh btw, my gs400 is faster than my sc430
