They are owned by toyota anyways <that daihatsu is also sold as toyota rush> so a couple dozen celsiors is nothing for them <I hate that>

More than likely, it's due to the fact that the car is connected to a track embedded in the ground. Once engaged it pulls the car downward to ensure the vehicle tracks straight for impact.

it is actually smaller than Corolla :-).
It is an SUV, but smaller than 4.2 Rav4.

Wouldn't that physically throw off a lot of variables though?
