Question Do you wash your own car?

I just discovered I will have to wash my own car(not really an option for my lazy azz) or I will have to go to a more expensive hand wash place. I got new rims today and they will get ruined from the track. The place I go to uses the track but they have guys inside who hand wash down the line. It was cheap too, only about 7 bucks for plain wash and 11 bucks on Tues and Wed for wash, wax, underbody clean, wheel clean, and dressing.
I am totally bummed about this.

Do you wash your own car or do you go to a hand wash place or do you go to a regular car wash place?

*If you go to a hand wash place in the Los Angeles area, where do you go? I need to find a good place.*

Not from Los Angeles but I wash my baby on a daily basis, usually takes me 4 hours each time too. I use to go through the car wash but after a couple of mods I can't do that any more. Its not so bad anyway, I actually like it. Just remember doesn't matter what car you have as long as its clean it'll be amazing

I wash her myself (even if the only time I can is 8 at night when I get home from work and it's frosty out... ya, last night was fun ) mainly cuz I'm one of these people who's just too **** to let someone else half ar$e it.

... only, I'm sooo ****... that even washing it at home drives me crazy because I don't have a water purifier for my garden hose.

Thanks man, announce to the world why don't you about my crappy driving skills. I drove home so frickin' slow today it was agonizing. I had my teeth clenched, wanted to strech my right leg so badly but was scared of potholes.

My dealer has a automated car wash and I don't feel like being cheap and making them manually hand wash just for a free wash. Although I will be getting that when I go in for service.

When I was a kid I used to wash my BMW before street racing adventures

Now, my RX gets hand washed along with a wash of the engine bay and the underside before heading up to the track.
