That is very true! The car was designed to give like that...which is why the cabin literally stayed in tact...protecting the passengers. If the Enzo protected the driver allowing him to run away...then regardless of the accident, the car saved his life. Thank the Ferarri engineers for that.

Every so often the local newspapers in Mexico City show a Ferrari or Porsche getting smashed to pieces or banged up pretty bad. Knowing a few auto reporters, this stuff sells as people love to see these things banged up or celebrities cars' banged up.
Next time I see a picture in a newspaper or magazine down here, I will post on of them.
We had a recent crash of an X5 on Paseo de Reforma (major street shown in the film Man on Fire) that was sliced in two after it hit a tree. The accidents down here more spectacular than the ones I see over the border.

don't know if the authority releases any information about the occupants or not. My guess is some punk *** kids "borrow" rich daddy's ride out for a quick rash, otherwise, don't think a person who can afford such car is that stupid to first travel the car at that rate of speed and then fled the sence leaving his count part behind.
