Question 97 Accord LX or 94 ES300 for a second car after my 98 GS400

I have a 98 GS400 and love it. The power, ride, comfort is unmatched, but our second car is something cheap to get around in. I am asking you guys since I know the GS forum has a lot more knowledge and people then the ES forum and I know a lot of you have upgraded from the ES to the GS. Please help me out.

Our other car is a 97 Accord LX. We have owned it since 99 and have had no problems with it at all. It has 83K on it but has no bells and whistles, only AC and power windows and doors. My wife's grandmother who is 91 is getting rid of her car, that's right, driven by a little old lady to the market and back from her retirement village. Her ES300 has 47K miles on it and looks good. She has owned it since new. Most of the miles are put on twice a year when relatives visit and use it to drive all around the state of Florida. I have driven it and it feels solid. The leather shows wear since it is always outside. I will be bringing both cars to my mechanic who I trust for his advice on which car to keep. I will also get the service records from Lexus. I think the Lexus is worth 6-7K and the Honda maybe a thousand less.

What do you think? What should I look for or mention to my mechanic. I know the Lexus is hands down the choice, I am looking to know how much more it will cost to have the Lexus over the Honda. I know parts and upkeep will cost a lot more. I don't even know if the timing belt has ever been changed? I know with the accord that I should have another two free years at 20K miles a year to drive it and I will probably keep it for 4 years. Do you think I can drive the Lexus for a few years up to 100K without putting in more then a grand or so?

Thanks for anything you can tell me, I know nothing of the ES, but I can say the GS400 rocks. Our 98 rides like it is new. It currently has 70K miles on it.
