styling change isnt all that to appreciate...all they did was cut the headlights in half --and u wonder why US auto makers are in problems, u have a design team that comes up with ideas like these that get paid big bucks

Yes....I'm looking forward to seeing the new Escalade line too......hopefully at the D.C show on the 24th. The last Escalade ( and the first one before that, too ) needed a lot of improvement. The interiors, especially, were nothing but a lot of glitterized plastic junk.

I recently did a review on the current 2006 Escalade and was not terribly impressed wih it.

As a former Range Owner I must admit, I always viewed the Escalade as the most beautiful SUV (despite some horrible custom jobs) on the road. From the large headlights, huge grille to the beautiful lines. That said....The interior was lame much like most other U.S. born S.U.V.'s. This new Escalade is pretty cool also esp the rear tails. However it appears to me that they shrunk the trademark oversized Caddy Diamond. I'm also not loving these smiley face new GM grilles.

I was thinking exactly that.
Except the new escalade amplifies on it a little more somehow.

I like it for now. But I usually get tired of it when everyone has one. Seems to me like Escalades are as common as Accords and Camry's these days.

Not feeling the new styling........the new Tahoe doesn't look too bad, I wonder what the fuel mileage will be......
