Default Chicago Taste of Lexus Event!!!! (My Thoughts)

I had fun. I drove the $%it out of pretty much every car I drove (IS, SC(2x love this car), LS, RXh, 330i, 530i GS 300 and 430(2X)). However the GS430 just didn't seem to give me the confidence of tossing it into turns as the IS350 did. I know its a bigger car and is heavier but it sure was fun trying to toss it in the turns (before Slalom section) at 30-40 MPH.
One thing I found amazing is just how damn quiet the RX hybrid really is! You can't hear the engines at all!

This one old guy behind me in the SC line kept bragging about how he's gonna knock down some cones in that section on the other side of the trees you couldnt see from the front part. Crazy guy lol. That probably was your friend blackrx lol. Anyhow I think I know who you're talking about (Melissa). As I kept asking her a thousand questions too! Was it me, or was that MArk Levinson 7.1 Channel Surround amazing?

Finally I must say this, I was actually impressed with the IS350. I mean its got good pickup, handles like a knife and was a hell of alot more fun to drive than the 330i. But you know what, if you looked close to the stats, you'd notice the Lexus cars had Z rated tires (V at the worst) while all the competitiors had R rated...hmm makes you wonder. But yeah did I say I love the SC? I had to do that one twice even though the damn line was 20 mins a pop. I came at 11:45 and stayed till 3:30ish.

I was there as well.

The SC track should have been the IS track.

I also liked the SC a lot.

I did the taste of lexus here in NY, and the Is is a beast. I was wringing it out on the track and forgot to turn off the vsc. The seat belt was choking me to death when vsc would kick in. all in all the IS350 was the best and a close second would be the bmw 330I

For those who have registered, but later want to attend at a different time, can you just show up at the event? I imagine they won't turn anyone away, but I just want to be sure
