New S-class Already on the Road
The new Gen S-class are already on the road in Saudi arabia. The dealership sold the first S500 for $160,000 US

Europe & some other parts of the world always get their new Benz models launched half a year earlier than here. I remember seeing the very first CLK in October 1997 while vacationing in Europe, but the car wasn't available here until Spring 1998. I also saw the then brand new E class in May 2002 in Spain & the car wasn't available here until the fall of 2002.

I thought I saw one the other day in our company parking lot. Then I realized it was a guy's Ford Focus. Guess I have to do more than watch for the Focus wheel arches.

I always see it in front of this restaurant every friday night. I cant just walk up to his car and take pics. But its silver. I have an 01 S500. I grill looks exactly the same. Umm, pretty much a mini maybach!

yea it does it look like a baby maybach..i saw one in manhattan bout a week ago..it was silver with tinted windows...my friend ordered 2 of them in may..one for him and one for his brother..must be nice lol

Just curious but has anyone seen a new R class on the road? I drove by a merc dealer today and there was definitely not a new S to be seen or an R. As the R was to be out in September, I would have figured they would show up before the new S.
