The Sky (the Solstace's twin from Saturn) is the big news here. There are numerous threads about that car which will debut in the near future. A few are listed below.

I think it's going to be a great seller for Saturn.

I agree that the Saturn Sky is much better-looking. The Solstice's front end, IMO, looks like a buck-toothed beaver grinning for the dentist. And Saturn has better dealerships and customer service to boot.
Last, consider that the Solstice, at least for the first 6 months to a year, is bound to have dealer markups. I'd bet the rent on it. Even with expensive gas, the fairly low-power 170 HP 4 under the hood shouldn't be too bad on mileage.....so demand is going to be strong. GM already has tens of thousands of deposits and orders waiting to be filled.
Saturn dealerships, on the other hand, are forbidden by company policy from selling at either a markup or a discount. If they do they can lose their Saturn franchise. All cars sell at list, period. No bargaining. No rebates. No incentives. No GM credit-card offers. List means LIST. So, that ALONE guarantees you won't have to pay more than sticker for the car ITSELF. But.... ......Maybe Saturn dealerhips will get around this restriction by loading Skys up with dealer-installed accesssories, which they ARE allowed to charge for. Dunno...we'll have to wait and see.
