Lexus has had navigation since what, 97? And it's available for Accord, and the new Ford 500 (which tops out at $29K!). So it's hardly state of the art any longer.

But I agree with your point though that Toyota must highly differentiate the Toyota and Lexus cars. That's tough with 'lower end' cars being a VERY competitive market, which means high end cars have to really really innovate to stand out. But of course most people's initial take on a car are its looks (or even its COLOR first according to surveys

).

Like them or not, GM is doing a fairly good job differentiating their Cadillac vehicles from the rest.
