good for you man. come to think of it. my college roomy, a white dude with a shaved head, drove this $3800 dollar beater green grand am around when he's from the same home town as my mom- saratoga, california. dude's dad's got a 60grand bike, house appraised 5.5 mil, when the kid's hauling in a beater like that. i told my dad that my roomy's family sure put myself in shame..

My parents matched my money on my first car (90 maxima) at the age of 17. Insurance, gas, parking tickets, you name it!! it was on me. Oh how i fast i learned responsibility. I look back now, and i thank them! Yes I THANK THEM!!! Had they have let me slide without taking responsibility for all these other things, i would never be where im at today. I learned how to take care of a car and learned responsibility at the same time. As for my kids, (when i have kids) i plan on doing the same thing. The method is proven to work, look at me!!
