Supercharge / Turbocharge any vehicle - $69.95!
Hi everyone,
I found this on the Motortrend website. Apparently you can Supercharge / Turbocharge any vehicle for just $69.95! Sounds like a load of 'pony poop' to me! Click the link:

"Better Gas Mileage: The Turbonator allows your engine to burn fuel more fully and efficiently, resulting in MPG gains as high as 31%. It pays for itself in no time."
Wow, what a deal!

If anyone actually believes that you can SC or Turbo your engine for $69.95 and have the same result as those that spend thousands for a real system then I have some great swamp land in Sri Lanka to sell you too.

What's a matter guys, don't hate on a good product. Here's testimonial of a satisfied customer:
"In a completely stock 99' Dodge Neon sport, I gained ten horses and went from 134-37 wheel horsepower to 144-47 wheel horsepower (using a G-Tech Pro performance meter). I have also noted (when I drive responsibly) a gain in gas mileage. I also lost a full second off my Quarter-mile times; from 16.8 to 15.8 and probably could have done better with more time with the G-Tech."

There is about as much chance of getting a good turbo job for $70 as there is Bill Clinton giving up his girl friends.

There is no way that 10 HP will gain you 1 full second in the quarter mile. I'm guessing that his original time was more due to driver error. 10HP might gain you a tenth (if that), not a full second.
And I'm not saying there aren't going to be some very slight gains but there is no way you can compare it to a true SC or Turbo system. Those increase HP in the 25 to 33% range (i.e a 300HP car can expect to gain approx. 75 to 100 HP with 6-8 lbs of boost.).
