best looking rims for a 745i?
my fellow lexus owners, i need some input on rims..not for the lexo but for the 745. Im looking into buying 22's, and no longer staggered, not in the mood for the crunch when i try to rotate them..so please give me some advice and pics if possible..and no, none of the bimmer sites are like this site, which of course is the best..thanks..

IMO if you are going to put 22" wheels on a 745 you MUST use a staggered fitment. Especially down there in FLA, it will separate you for all the fools with 22" something shiny's on their 745! LOL
Honestly for rotation, you can still "flip" the tires (switch rotation direction and swap sides)
As for styles, just stay simple and you cant go wrong, 5spoke / 5spoke split/ multispoke, etc
iFORGED Retro in 22" chrome would be something special in 22x10.5 with that 4.5" lip! Also, maybe you didnt see it when you agreed to the CL Rules and Procedures, but there is a hidden clause which states you MUST and I mean MUST lower your within 1month of adding 22" wheels! LOL
Good luck with the choice
Here is a 745 with 22" black Retros (I'm not really a fan of the AC Scnitzer aero kit but the roof wing is perfect)

Man, too bad nothing will ever look as good as the optional split-spoke factory 19s on the previous 7. That was a setup to DIE for.
Although, that black 7 that D2-Autosport posted is WOOOOOOOOOOW.

If you cannot lower a vehicle after adding wheels, same thing.

yeah like d said, 22s on the ls430 would be an extremely horrible idea, don't do that.
my rule of thumb is, in general, doing +2 is ok for most cars (meaning +2" from stock size). +3 might be doable depending on the car. for example, the 745 stock is 19, so doing 21 is ok, and this case 22 is perfect. for gs, stock is 17, so 19 is ok, and 20 will work too. for ls430, stock can go up to 18, so 20 would be good, 21 i think is marginal
of course there are always exceptions
