I wanna remove my power steering hose but i wanna know if I need to remove the metal canister thats attached to it, would that make it easier?? I wanna repair the hose cause it has a pin hole in it. I have a 91 LS 400...

Just siphon out most of the fluid of the canister, then you can remove the hose just fine. But you should drape a rag below the hose to prevent any PS fluid spills.
