I know you can get almost any color in a pearlescent , can anyone explain
what a pearlescent paint really is?
How different is it from KANDY colors?
what are the procedures?
How do you get that different shade switching?
im in the process of repainting my car , but cant find too much knowledgable information on pearl paints, im mostly interested in a White pearl , if anyone can provide me with some links and or info , and pics too. my favorite so far is Diamond White that you see on The Escalades, it has a an of-white cream color to it , but iam looking for a more silverish blue haze to my pearl color,
are there any additives i should ask the paint shop guy to add?
And what about metal flakes can you add them to any poaint job ?
and what effect can it give being added to a white pearl paint? lets say red mettalic flakes to a pearl paint job.
And what actually is the best paint application , Just a paint , a paint with a top coat , or paint mid coat and top coat?

kandy paint is 3 steps, first the car surface is painted silver, then painted with translucent (see thru) paint , then clear, pearl is just fine metal flake
