This is one thing that I don't understand about Mercedes. They steal the design of an expensive car and put it in one of their cheapest models. This totally take away the exclusivity of the SLR. Just like when MB introduce the 2000 S class. Make a $30k C class look like the $70k+ S class. Yeah the C class owners love this, but the S class owners are saying, WTF 
? I am so thankful for Lexus not doing this cannibalism thing. Every model is very distinctive- The LS don't look like the IS...... Way to go Lexus

GS3Tek-This strategy is the "trickle down effect" where they hope the SLK buyers will buy it since it is now somehow related to the SLR, and since they won't be making much money off the SLR anyway, I doubt the SLK will truly detract form large sales numbers. Personally I think it's hideous and that nose looked, if nothing else, fitting on the long hood of the SLR but on the midget SLK it just looks goofy. In regards to the Crossfire, watch this vid. ...268hp supposedly with new 3.5 liter V6 using 4 valves per cylinder (MBZ used to utilize 3 per). The mechanism for the top close in less than 22 secs. It's not bad considering it's a MB roadster. Interested... pm me.

...the car looks a tad bit more agresive if you opt for the AMG sports kit. Regarding looks, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I have a RX8 and I think it's b_d-_ss!!!
