"High mileage" club
Just came across this page on the Volvo website called the High Mileage Club. This is a club for Volvo owners who have driven at least 100,000 miles. I think the following excerpt from the web page vividly attests to the safety and quality of Volvo vehicles
"Perhaps the single most stunning example of legendary Volvo durability is the shiny red 1966 Volvo P1800 owned by Irv Gordon. So far it has been driven a world-record-breaking 2,000,000 miles and counting."

I think most cars can be driven hundreds of thousands of miles. The only question is, how much money and time in the shop does it cost you to get there?
I think Lexus clearly wins when you use that criteria.
