My Father and I had some fun today with a classic hot rod.
We were talking over the phone and i drove by a lot where I know the owner. I locked up my brakes and spun around back into the lot..... jumped out and drooled while telling my father (a true die hard gear head for hot rods and Camaro's especially) that he needed to get down here right away, we were going to go have some serious fun.
In front of me sat a fully restored '68 Camaro SS with a bored over 396, 4 speed auto on the floor, and 10 inch BF's on the rear. I told the car lot ower to give me the key's. My father showed up and we took it out for a little "test drive".
Man it was a blast.

Looks like you and your dad had quite the time. If this post interrupts your pics, I'll delete and repost, but hopefully it doesn't.
I wish the weather was still as nice around here. Enjoy the holidays with a nice car and dear ol' dad

Wow, I love it. Now there's a car from my era. I actually had 2 Chevy Impalas that color, one a 62 (283 with 3 on the tree) and one a 66 (327 PG). Since you turned the guys rear beef into bef, at least you could give him a little free ad in case someone wants to drop down there and buy it.

I'm not sure anyone would want to buy this one. it's perfect, and is a ground up restoration...hence...... asking price $18,500.00 well worth it, but there are too many others out there close to people for that kind of money.
It was still fun to play with though. My pop just barked them a little, he knows better than to abuse them. the tires were brand new. any wear would have shown.

Damn that's sweet! I've always been into muscle cars and have been wanting to own either a 69 Camaro SS or a late 60's early 70's Pontiac Trans Am Ram-Air

I think i'd rather have the T/A (smokey and the bandit edition), but this car as awsome too. One thing i like about my dad is that he never grew up. we are both like kids. He's 50...um.. 6? lol and i'm pushing 30 and we are both still car nuts.

Beautiful car, nice test drive . I prefer the 69 SS/RS with the vacuum-actuated flip up headlight covers for Camaros.
Like Seize though I'm more of a Pontiac guy. Had a 73 Ram Air Firebird with a built GTO engine in it (need to find pics and scan them in sometime). Man that car was fun, but it sure left me on the side of the road a lot. Thinking back, it was worth it.
